All our brands are based on the pillars of quality and sustainability.
The program plans to act on 2 fronts: on the product, creating green furnishings, composed of natural and recycled materials, with an emphasis on circularity - and on concrete actions in the Company, which directly affect everyday life.

The sustainability agenda is a precise and measurable commitment of the Company and especially of the people who make it up, to work for the sustainable development of the Group, to protect the planet and ensure a cleaner world for future generations.

Product

I am green

Sustainability index
To identify how green our products are, the "I am green" sustainability index is born which, thanks to a true mathematical formula, takes into account the quantity of natural materials used with low environmental impact, the quantity of recycled materials and the " Circularity " The products that will be evaluated eco-friendly will be marked with the new rainbow logo "I am green".

Natural materials

The collections will therefore increasingly use both natural materials - such as FSC® wood, organic cotton or natural fibers - and recycled materials, such as post industrial or post consumer plastic: FSC® wood; natural fabrics; organic cotton; bio plastic; cork cardboard (packaging).

Recycled materials

The sustainability indicator will also consider the amount of recycled materials: plastic (post industrial); plastic (post consumer); glass; coupled (packaging).

Circularity

The circularity of the product will be calculated on the basis of the level of recyclability of the compounds themselves, the ease of disassembly, the performance of the product in terms of durability and the "chemical" safety of the materials used. Circularity: disassembly, recyclability, biodegradability, durability.

System

Sustainable process driver

Environmental management system
We are FSC® certified, a certification that guarantees that the wood used in the products derives from sources managed correctly and responsibly according to rigorous environmental, social and economic standards.

The sustainability agenda is a precise and measurable commitment of the Company and especially of the people who make it, to work in a greener perspective and make their own contribution to preserving the planet for future generations, respecting the principles of the 2030 UN agenda.

It is based on the application of analytical indicators that enable the Group to define objectives and measure the progress of structured actions in order to achieve them thanks to the contribution of the entire organization.

About the "corporate system", the Group will continue and intensify the process of reducing waste, resource consumption and, above all, the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions. A process that began over 15 years ago and that has allowed the Company to obtain important awards such as the FSC® certification, which guarantees that the wood used in the products comes from responsibly managed sources, according to strict environmental, social and economic standards and the achievement of the ISO 14001 certification for the parent company, with the aim of obtaining it also for its subsidiaries.

The Group has also introduced a review process of internal procedures based on the principles of social responsibility that will lead to the adoption, in the coming years, of the ISO 45001 certification. By 2022, the company, with an operation started in 2019, committed to the complete removal of asbestos from its plants.
